“Declaration 1776” Now Available in Paperback — and I’ll Give a Talk on the Fourth

I’m happy to announce that my book Declaration: the Nine Tumultuous Weeks When America Became Independent is now available in both hardcover and paperback. (It’s also been available digitally.) The paper edition joins The Whiskey Rebellion, as well as books by David McCullough and others, in Simon & Schuster’s “America Collection.” (Paperback doesn’t officially release till July 5, and the hardcover seems to be selling a bit in celebration of the holiday.)

And tomorrow, the Glorious Fourth itself, I’ll be at the Adams House in Quincy, Mass., a National Parks service historic site, at 1:00, to talk about “down and dirty politics, 1776 style.” I’ll sell and sign books too. It’s free. Details.

And this just in: The Boston Globe has published a great review of Declaration.
